Uwe "hallowatcher" Wiemer - osu! Player

History

hallowatcher started playing osu! in 2012. He discovered osu! through a CounterStrike: Source forum for a clan called ] HellClan [ from a player named Vmx. During that time, Vmx was a 2 digit player from Estonia and regularly posted his clips on that forum.

After creating his account in 2012, hallowatcher played for a few months and came to realize the game was pretty hard with mouse, so he stopped playing it until September of 2014.

This time, he decided to come back stronger and bought himself his first tablet, a Wacom CTL-480. He also started streaming at this time, and quickly rose to the top in 2015. By 2016, hallowatcher had reached 2 digits already, and he was ready to perform in that year's OWC.

Sadly, he did not get taken into the team, and instead DoKito and W3SON did. This turned out to be a fatal mistake later on from the German team. hallowatcher was pissed with this decision, and decided to take it easy in 2017, not playing much and not making the OWC team again.

In 2018 however, hallowatcher was convinced to participate in the German Cup 2018, where he would end up winning the whole tournament, proving to everyone he was a capable tournament player and getting his first badge.

He then proceeded to participate in OWC 2018, it being his first World cup, and taking 3rd place on the podium.

Since then, he's participated in OWC 2019, OWC 2020 and OWC 2021, gaining several tournament wins along the way, especially winning German Cups consecutively, as well as German State cups.

hallowatcher has become one of the respected leads of the German community with all his development and spreadsheet work, like pick'ems and the yearly German votings.
