Maria "Remilia" Creveling - Female League of Legends Player
Maria "Sakuya" Creveling is a female American League of Legends player. She currently plays for Renegades as a support player.
In Season 3, Sakuya was picked up as a sub for Curse Academy to play in an NESL match, despite not having much experience in competitive play. She was later moved to the main roster, but left the team a month later.
Sakuya joined No Big Deal near the start of Season 4 where they played in the qualifiers for the North American Challenger Series Spring Season. They failed to qualify both times, and disbanded soon after. In May 2014, Sakuya made another attempt to qualify for the Challenger Series by helping to create a new team called Necrofantasian. The team disbanded after failing to qualify.
On October 2014, Sakuya joined Team Dragon Knights and attempted to qualify for the LCS Spring Expansion via the Challenger Ladder. They qualified for the tournament, but chose not to participate. On December 19, 2014, a new Challenger Series team called Roar announces Sakuya as part of their roster. The team aimed to qualify for the LCS Summer Split after a bootcamp in China, but they were eliminated early in the Challenger Series Spring Qualifier.
In Season 5, Sakuya was announced to be joining a new Challenger Series team, though because other players were still going through try-outs, she subbed for Team Dragon Knights in one of their Challenger Series matches. When the full roster was completed, team revealed their name to be Misfits. They won the AlphaDraft Challenger League in May, and qualified for the North American Challenger Series Summer Season. Misfits rebranded themselves as Renegades before the start of the Challenger Series.
Sakuya and her team ended the season in 2nd place, but were ultimately won the tournament in the playoffs. Their victory earned them a seed into the LCS Spring Season in 2016. Though Sakuya originally planned on leaving the team after making it into the LCS, she decided to remain with the team in the end.
