The League of Legends Master Series (abbreviated to "LMS") is a professional League of Legends esports league owned and operated by Garena, with teams from Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. It replaces the LoL Nova League (LNL) in Taiwan.
Garena announced in 2014 about plans of creating a new league to separate Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau from the rest of the Garena Premier League in Southeast Asia. The LMS had its inaugural season in spring of 2015.
The league has two seasons per year in the spring and summer. Eight teams from this region compete to qualify for the annual LoL World Championship at the end of the year.
