On 17th November 2022, W3E held the first ever professional esports LAN event in web3 gaming history, in partnership with feature game, EV.io. A high-level production at the ESA Arena in Istanbul, Turkey and in conjunction with W3E's gaming expo, W3Expo, we saw 8 teams battle it out in a one day, double elimination event called the W3E Championship, broadcast online and before a live audience, casted by seasoned EV shoutcasters, Zatakster and SneakyFrog.
