BCXtras is the name we designated for all of the side tournaments of different game modes that were intended to happen during BCX. During every Friday dev stream, viewers voted on a team to represent the community against a game with the devs in different game modes. If the devs won, we added $50 to the BCXtras prize pool. If the community won, we added $100 to the BCXtras prize pool. We ended at $1,050! Due to logistical constraints, we were not able to run the BCXtras event at BCX. So, we're doing it online!

The BCXtras tournament will be double-elimination where every round in the tournament is designated for a best-of-3 of a different game mode. The game modes will be played in this order:

Brawlball, Snowbrawl, Dodgebomb, Beachbrawl, Bombsketball

For example, in the first round of the tournament, everyone will play a best-of-3 in Brawlball. Winners of that round move on to upper bracket round 2, where they will be playing Snowbrawl, while the losers move down to lower bracket round 1, where they are also playing Snowbrawl. This process continues through the tournament, every round playing the next game mode on the list (looping back to the beginning of the list when every game mode has been played).

• Game modes rules are always the default settings.
• In Snowbrawl, a random map must be chosen.
• No duplicate Legends are allowed on a team at the same time.
• Stances are allowed!

Grand Finals Rules

• Best of 5.
• Every game is played with a different game mode.
• 5 game modes, 5 maximum games in the set. No game mode is played twice in Grand Finals.
• Higher seed chooses the first game mode.
• Losing team of a game counter picks the next game mode.
